Water cascades from the vessel held by the Mucha-inspired female figure, into a series of tiered lily-like flower blossoms, before collecting in the round basin and recirculating via the solar-powered pump, which is equipped with backup battery power. In good sunlight, the pump operates using solar power, while the battery pack collects and stores a charge. If it is a cloudy or dark, the battery will activate and power the unit, for as many as 4 hours when fully charged. If the batteries are depleted, the system will automatically attempt to draw power from the solar panel, and will resume running once the sun comes out.
